Uzumi’s role : Web design and development

The need

A hands-on business, an online presence to match.

Lithora is the mineral and decorative finishes business connected to Abdel. It needed a website that shows the materials, distinguishes uses and audiences, and leads to a quote enquiry, for French-, Dutch- and English-speaking customers.

Uzumi’s work

Designing and developing the site end to end.

Uzumi handled the content architecture, the visual direction, the development and the technical foundation for search visibility. The site is built with Next.js, React and TypeScript, with a server route for the quote enquiry.

The choices

Let people discover the material, then guide them.

Large mood images and expressive typography set the tone; entries by material, by use and for professionals structure the navigation. The journey leads to the quote enquiry page. The mood images are generated illustrations, presented as such, not photographs of completed work.

The deliverables

A multilingual, responsive site structured for search.

The site is live in French, Dutch and English, with a layout for narrow screens, canonical metadata, language versions declared to search engines and social sharing previews. Some detailed pages in Dutch and English are still in preparation.

The scope

A business website, with its technical foundation.

Uzumi delivered the design and development of the site, its multilingual architecture and its technical SEO foundation. Lithora’s projects, the site’s traffic and its search rankings are not part of this work: the technical foundation lays the groundwork for visibility; it does not guarantee it.
